Particularly in portable consumer applications like MP3 players and PDAs, space is always a scarce commodity. So by integrating the pass device into the battery charger, the AAT3682 reduces external parts count and in the process, reduces the system footprint.

Developer of innovative power management solutions AnalogicTech has introduced a DC/DC converter with architecture that features full internal compensation, reducing the need for external components and conserving valuable board space. The latest addition to AnalogicTech’s extensive converter family, the AAT1152 fully integrated 850kHz 1A buck DC/DC converter also includes a Power OK (POK) function that monitors the output, alerting the system if the output voltage falls out of regulation.
